In phase two, players engage in large-scale battles across the vast star sea against other factions, emerging victorious in this interstellar domination struggle.
Players can freely form battleship fleets choosing different ship types and specialties. Scout-class frigates boast high agility for reconnaissance on the frontlines. Assault-class carriers concentrate formidable firepower for long-range bombardment. Guardian-class fleets have extremely robust defense to tenaciously safeguard frontline positions. Storm-class fleets possess unmatched maneuverability for encirclement operations. Players need to leverage the traits and strengths of each battleship appropriately based on terrain and situations on diverse battlegrounds.
In combat, apart from battleship attributes, players also have to devise strategies utilizing terrain, visibility, stealth, ambush and other mechanics - cleverly maneuvering scout ships to glean enemy intelligence on positions, setting up ambush points based on landscapes to catch opponents off guard, stealthily approaching with a battleship before launching a surprise attack to gain the initiative.
Combat proceeds in turns. The attack/defense properties and numbers of different battleships directly impact the outcome. Players have to assess damage and recalibrate deployments each round, striving for final victory when the last round closes.
Phase two rigorously tests playersโ overall command competence encompassing battleship coordination, fleet composition, and battlefield control. Only by fully leveraging the strengths of all battleships and responding with fitting counter tactics can players prevail in this epic interstellar domination war to seize star sea hegemony for their faction, laying a robust foundation for the third phase traversing stellar star systems.
